For more on the Level Two training in May, use this link for information and bookings: Yin Level Two Information and Booking

Both trainings will be held at the lovely Grass Roots Yoga in St Kilda (pictured above) and places are limited to ensure a comfortable learning environment. Both Level One trainings in 2013 booked out and Early Bird rates for Level One end Jan 15, so get in quick!

Level One is open to anyone with some Yin experience and will cover the essential anatomy and philosophy of yin and the basic Yin postures. Level Two students should have 6-12 months of a regular Yin practice and a desire to learn more about the anatomy of fascia, mapping the energetic body, and yin sequencing.

Please feel free to get in touch with any additional questions re: either Level One or Level Two. Hope to see you in training!

  • Candice De Zilwa

    Hi there,

I was wondering if it would be possible to do the Yin Level one training, only having done a handful of Yin classes, and just recently starting Yoga. I have fallen in love with Yin Yoga, and would love to deepen my understanding of it for my personal practice of it at home.

    • Jennifer

      Hi Candice,
I would welcome you at the Level One Yin Intensive in March. Everything we cover will provide a solid foundation for a home practise and you receive a manual with yin anatomy, philosophy, and postures to take home. The atmosphere in the training is very relaxed and we always have a great time. I hope you’ll join us!

      Warmly,
      Jennifer

  • Ruth Romei

    Hi Jennifer,
I have recently discovered Yin yoga and am keen to do the level 1 trsining, but will be on another course 1/2 March. Are you planning on running level 1 again in 2014?
    Thanks
    Ruth

    • Jennifer

      Hi Ruth,
Thanks for getting in touch. I will run another L1 training in 2014, likely in August. Shall I add you to the Yin mailing list so that you know about any upcoming trainings and events? Is it teacher training you are after specifically or simply a deeper dive into Yin Yoga?

      Warmly,
      Jennifer

  • Gwyneth

    Hi Jennifer
I recently was on holiday in Auckland and discovered Yin Yoga and loved it, unfortunately I live up in Cairns QLD where there are no teachers.
I have been teaching Yoga up here for 10 yrs and would love to offer another style to my students,so now I am interested in doing some Yin Yoga teacher training.
Could you put me on your mailing list for future workshops, and also can you recommend a good DVD or books.?

    • Jennifer

      Hi Gwyneth,
Thanks for being in touch and I will most certainly add you to my mailing list. If you are up for travel, I am running a Level Two Yin TT in May. Since you are an experienced teacher with some Yin experience, you might just jump into Level Two. I will probably also run another Level One training in September or October so I’ll keep you posted on that. Also, if you are keen/able to travel, I have a Yin Intensive retreat April 4-6 in Daylesford and I’ve attached the flyer for that.
In terms of DVD’s and books, here are a few I would definitely put in your library:
      Yinsights by Bernie Clark (book)
      Insight Yoga by Sarah Powers(book)
Anatomy of Yoga and Yin Yoga by Paul Grilley (DVD) and Yin Yoga: Principles and Practice (book)

Hope this helps and that we cross paths sometime soon.
      Warmly, Jennifer

      Hi Vesna,
Thank you for getting in touch via the website. I am happy to add you to the yin yoga mailing list and look forward to meeting you at a future event or training. Until then, be well!
      Warmly,
      Jennifer

  • Hi Jen I would love to do some yin training. Please could you add me to your mailing list and would also love the details of the retreat in Daylesford x

    • Jennifer

      Hi April,
Thank you for being in touch. I will happily add you to the Yin Yoga mailing list. I only send things out occasionally so I won’t flood your inbox 🙂 The retreat in Daylesford had only 10 places and it’s completely booked out. But, due to the demand, I will run another one later in the year. So, I will notify you about that via the mailing list. And you can always feel free to check back here on the website for news and updates. I hope to meet you at an event or class in the near future!
      Warmly, Jennifer
